USHA
means “dawn” in Sanskrit, a time of day that symbolizes renewal, rebirth, and all things life-affirming. Just like her story.
She was wandering the streets of a very poor area outside Mexico City. She had a severe case of mange, so people threw rocks at her because of her appearance. Unsurprisingly, she was really afraid of humans. Her rescue was not easy and took weeks, but we had help from two amazing guys that did not give up.
After a few weeks in the clinic, she learned from our amazing vets that humans can be loving too. And she became the most loving and happy dog ever!
She is still looking for her forever home. She loves playing, running, chasing other dogs -she prefers hanging out with big dogs- and loves people and kids.
